#WCW WAG CRUSH WEEKLY 12/6 - JULIA SPRAGGS

Our WAG crush this week is Julia Spraggs, wife of minor league hockey player, Riley Spraggs of the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs (based in Roanoke, VA). 

This Brazilian Italian beauty moved to the US as a teenager. She met her husband Riley in college; they both attended Lindenwood University in St. Louis and majored in Kinesiology. Julia and Riley are both strength and conditioning coaches in the off season! Follow their business Spraggs Performance on insta @spraggsperformance for hockey strength and conditioning programming, science and evidence based Performance Nutrition, and online personal training. She is currently working on her Master's and blogging all things hockey life, pregnancy, relationships and more on the hockey nomad. The sweet couple is expecting a baby girl any day now! #WCW WAG CRUSH WEEKLY 11/29 - BRITTANY ROSS

Our WAG Crush this week is the beautiful Brittany Ross, wife of professional baseball player Robbie Ross Jr. (Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox).

Brittany's beauty is beyond skin deep. A self-proclaimed free spirit and lover of humans, she is a certified yoga instructor and founder of nonprofit organization Mission 108. Mission 108 is "Advocating with the marginalized, empowering the vulnerable, partnering with the willing, and focusing on Human Rights for the survivors of Human Trafficking and the extreme poor." In 2017, human trafficking and slavery is still a reality, and millions of vulnerable people fall victim each year across the globe. CNN recently released footage of the slave trade in Libya which has since gone viral. It's people like Brittany and her team who are brave enough to tackle the problem head on, and go beyond a heartfelt social media post. She is more than worthy of our WAG CRUSH crown. Learn more about Brittany and how she is making our world a better place below!

The couple felt called to do something greater with the platform they’d been given as a MLB family and influencers in their community. Along their journey God opened the door to fighting human trafficking and loving the extreme poor. Whether it was seeing the reality of poverty and those that live on less than a dollar a day or the darkness of modern day slavery, their hearts have been undone. Brittany has been traveling the world, serving the poor, and investigating the eradication of modern day slavery for the past several years.

She's the girlfriend of Chicago Bears Safety, Deon Bush, and loves to travel to different countries throughout the year to give back and experience different cultures. Read more about this talented beauty below!

Hi!

I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY. I'm a city girl to the core! I spend most of my time traveling and working (most of the time they're one in the same lol). I travel a lot for work! 

I cover sports and entertainment and both take me all over the country. I'm not sure if there's really ever a "typical" day for a reporter. One day I can be working in NYC, the next in L.A., and the next I could be in Chicago waking up to do a morning show at 2:30am! It's definitely a life of organized chaos. 

I have two style icons, Rihanna and LaLa Anthony. I love how they both can get glammed up and steal the show, but also dress it down and still slay! 

My most recent projects include appearing as a regular host for BET Breaks, covering MTV's VMA's, and reporting for Chicago's brand new morning show The Jam.

My favorite quote is: "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard."

A little about Haley...

My name is Haley Grissom and I'm married to 2017 Super Bowl Champ, Geneo Grissom.

After growing up in Dallas, Texas, I attended business school at the University of Oklahoma and subsequently worked in the fashion industry. In 2015, Geneo was drafted to the New England Patriots where we have been blessed to stay for three seasons. After coming to Boston, I began attending Boston College Law School, and will graduate with my Juris Doctor in 2019. When I'm not cheering Geneo on during the season, I spent my time working for Boston firms on litigation, corporate transactions and real estate.
